I am a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly twenty years of varied clinical experience, caring for mostly an underserved population.
I am self-motivated and easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment. I am proficient in common office procedures, including cyst excision, laceration repair, skin biopsy and foreign body excision, and wound management. I am adept at caring for patients with substance abuse issues, and managing a range of complex diagnoses, including psychiatric conditions, and especially enjoy educating my patients, which allows them to make better informed decisions regarding their health.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, bike riding and participating in medical mission trips; my favorite was a three week trip spent in Nukus, Uzbekistan, with Healing the Children. Exhausting, but a real joy!
