Drive-Up Coronavirus Testing at MPFC

We are now conducting drive-up coronavirus testing at MPFC. This testing is generally ordered following a telemedicine visit by a MPFC provider. For now we are only testing sypmtomatic patients per CDC and State guidelines. Symptoms of coronavirus are sneaky...sometimes more obvious such as a fever and flu-like illness, and other times more subtle with loss of the sense or smell or even a rash. If you have symptoms and would like to meet with a provider via telemedicine to see if testing is indicated, please reach out. We are to help with your coronavirus concerns. Telemedicine comes to Medical Park Family Care

Medical Park is pleased to be offering telemedicine visits.  During this era of hunkering down, we are scheduling all respiratory complaints as telemedicine visits when possible.  Our nurse will help you decide if this applies to you when you call to schedule.  As we seek to enable the physical distance necessary while our community weathers the coronavirus, many other concerns often seen in the office can be addressed remotely we well.  Give us a call and we will get you scheduled so you can stay safe at home while still addressing your physical and mental health needs.  For those who need to be seen in the office, we are segregating sick and well patients and following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff.  Your Medical Park care team is thinking of you and here if you need us.

Caring for our patients and staff during the coronavirus outbreak

We hope that you are still finding social connection during these times of physical separation. On our end, we are mindfully adjusting our clinic space and schedule to accommodate patients who need to come to clinic while minimizing exposure of well patients and staff to those potentially infected with the coronavirus. These efforts include screening all patients who enter clinic for coronavirus risk factors, frequent disinfection of all surfaces, removing community reading material, establishing a designated respiratory clinic, keeping the lab free of patients with respiratory illness, designating exam rooms for well check visitis, and limiting the number of people in clinic at any given time. To that end, we ask that you come to your appointments alone or with one caregivier as needed to bring your own reading material.

In terms of coronavirus testing, we are following CDC guidelines for whom to test. We understand that many folks who do not meet these guidelines would also like to be tested. However, there is a local and national shortage of testing supplies. We need to protect these materials until the supply chain allows the broader testing we would all like to see.

Finally, we are soon to begin our telemedicine program and will share more information on that in the coming days. If you need us, please reach out by phone (279-8486) or our patient portal and follow us on Facebook for regular clinic updates.

Be well and remember that fresh air and social connection, even from afar, are both good medicine.

Power Outage

We had a temporary power outage which unfortunately affected the phone lines. We apologize for the inconvenience and the power has been restored. Thank You!
