Description:

Candidate must hold a current CPC or CPC-A license. 1+ years of coding and billing experience a plus, however newly licensed coders will be considered. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding, along with experience in medical billing policies and procedures, third party payments, and government payer regulations are preferred. Applicant must have computer experience, be detail oriented, independently motivated, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Charge entry
• Interpreting patient medical charts and assigning appropriate ICD-10/CPT codes
• Claim corrections/code reviews
• Patient customer service -- answering questions regarding account charges and payments
• Certified CPC
• Organization and attention to detail are a must!
• MUST pass background check
