A loyal advocate for others, Julie takes pride in the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered and evidence-based medicine. Her clinical approach emphasizes whole-person care and the development of a partnership with each patient. Her practice has been shaped by vast experience working in critical care medicine including CT, surgical, trauma and neuro ICUs and acute rehabilitation. She strives to create a safe space, guiding others toward prevention of sickness and a toward healthy, balanced life. She promotes meaningful change by ensuring others feel heard and involved in a shared decision-making process.

Originally from the Midwest, Julie grew up in Southern Illinois and began her healthcare career at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St Louis, MO. From there she ventured West as a travel nurse, eventually landing in Alaska. She has called Anchorage home for five years and enjoys a plethora of outdoor activities, eating & cooking good food, and spending time with her wife and two dogs.
