Dr. Ray Robinson has a true passion for Orthopedic & Sports Medicine. His other professional interests include skin cancer screening, prevention and early detection of heart disease, general Internal Medicine and Aviation Medicine.
Dr. Robinson practiced for four years in Seward, where he performed treadmill stress testing for detection of heart disease. He is certified as an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), and can currently issue student pilot and 3rd class medical certificates. He continues to receive training in Dermoscopy, a new and evolving technique for skin cancer screening.
As an avid cross-country skier and "semi-retired" trail runner, Dr. Robinson is committed to helping Alaskans stay physically active throughout life. He is married to Dr. Julie Robinson, who is also a physician at Medical Park. He and his wife have two children and they both enjoy being physicians for entire families. Dr. Ray Robinson's other interests include hunting, fish harvesting, gardening, sea kayaking, mountain biking, and getting his children out into the Alaska wilderness.
