F. Leland Jones, MD

Dr. Jones received his initial physician training at Loma Linda University. He served in the United States Army at Fort Richardson Alaska. He grew to love Alaska and this has been his home ever since.

Medical Park Family Care (MPFC) was founded by Dr. Jones and his medical partner Dr. Myron McCumber in 1973. Dr. Jones has nurtured the growth of Medical Park at the same location for 35 years. MPFC has enjoyed treating Alaskans and visitors with compassionate care and attention.

Some of his special medical interests include aviation medicine, skin surgery (moles, warts, lumps & bumps), diving medicine, vasectomies, minor emergencies & trauma, cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes.
